Accomplishments

Improving the quality of life for the people in Islip has been the focus of my work. Getting this done at no cost to taxpayers is especially rewarding. The rebuilding of Islip's parks has given me great satisfaction. The Bay Shore Marina, the West Islip Beach - "Madeline Hsu Playground," Brookwood Hall Restoration and Garden Project, and the Grange in Sayville historic building improvements, are a few examples.

Sound Fiscal Policies led to Islip's AAA Bond Rating, the best in Suffolk County
Islip Town's Firefighter's Museum - securing a lease and $250,000 in donations
East View Drive Park and Concession - no taxpayer cost
Kaboom Playground Initiatives - Disney Donation and helped organize 400 community volunteers
Audible Pedestrian Signals - for the visually impaired
PAR F.O.R.E. Golf Instruction Program - helping youth at risk

Led the effort for Super Storm Sandy's cleanup
Reduced the size of town government
